  • Racing for 35+ years - 20,000+ offshore miles.

  • Three Pacific Cups (San Francisco to Hawaii - 2200 miles), 2002, 2008, 2018 on Rage (70 foot custom Wylie design) – Projected July 2022 on Rage

  • Tahiti Race in 2012 on Rage (LA to Tahiti - 3700 miles)

  • 20+ Oregon Offshore races – Astoria, Oregon to Victoria, BC - 193 miles (Various boats including J-30, J-35, Peterson 44, Wylie 70, etc.)

  • 20+ Swiftsure races - Victoria, BC out the Straits of Juan de Fuca to the Swiftsure Banks - 140 miles (boats same as Offshore)

  • 20+ years weekly racing from March to October Tuesday and Thursday (60-80 races per year) on one design Cal 20s (owner - fleet champion 2 times) on Thursday nights and also various other boats on Tuesday nights, e.g. J-24, J105, Moore 24, Melges 24, Flying Tiger, etc.

  • Cal 20 Nationals Tacoma Yacht Club

  • J-35 Nationals, CYC Seattle

  • Whidbey Island Race week - Cascade 36

  • Anacortes Race Week (2021) - Melges 24

  • Sunday racing (18 Sundays) in Portland on Columbia River through the winter every year, October to March, on Peterson 44, J-122, J-105 – Also Race Captain for all these races.

  • Charleston Race Week 2017, J-120

  • Baja HaHa (Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas - 800 miles) 2013 on Peterson 44 Mostly a trimmer, but started out foredeck, and can drive. I also do all the provisioning and cooking for the long offshore races.

  • Corinthian Yacht Club of Portland (CYC) Vice Commodore (2018, 2019) Commodore 2020, 2021

  • CYC, Race Captain – Pacific NW Offshore (formerly Oregon Offshore) (2018, 2019, 2020 (cancelled - Covid), 2021, 2022)
