Oakshire Beer Hall Inspires Night

Oakshire Brewing has graciously teamed up with Portland area nonprofit organization, Sail2Change, to put an "Oakshire Inspires," where, the day before Thanksgiving, $1 from every beer enjoyed will be donated to Sail2Change. Come enjoy a rainbow of possible beer options with all your visiting relatives and donate to a great cause! Sail2Change will be there from 5-7 PM to mingle with you!

Food and other beverage options are available (wine, cider, kombucha, soda) but will not go toward the donation. Under 21 years of age welcome until 11 PM.

ABOUT SAIL2CHANGE: Our mission is to improve community equity by empowering youth through access, opportunity, authentic relationships, and alternative outdoor education.

Sail2Change put on a 4-week outdoor program this summer where youth from Portland area and Southwest Washington went backpacking in the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests, then returned to Portland to learn to sail with our friends at Willamette Sailing Club. Currently, students have mentors to follow them through their school year and events to keep them involved. We plan to do it all over again next summer with more teens from the area.

ABOUT OAKSHIRE INSPIRES NIGHTS: Oakshire Brewing is a community inspired small batch brewing company.  We endeavor to partner with and give back to our community in meaningful ways. Every Wednesday in both our Public House and Beer Hall, we host an Oakshire Inspires event benefiting specific 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
