TOGETHER, WE ARE ENRICHING THE LIVES OF UNDERSERVED YOUTH.
A MESSAGE FROM THE SAIL2CHANGE CREW
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Our organization fully supports the Black community as we stand up to systemic racial injustices and champion equity. You matter. Your voice deserves to be heard. We are here to listen.

We hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and taking care of one another during the COVID-19 situation. Because of uncertain circumstances ahead, we are saddened to say, we are forced to cancel the main sailing and wilderness sections of our program this year. We will begin recruiting students in September to attend our full program for summer 2021.
However, our commitment to youth has not wavered. In fact, we have loosened our age limits for this summer only. Now, underserved youth in 8th - 12th grade are invited to attend monthly recreation events this summer. Sign your student up HERE to receive exclusive invitations for those events as restrictions lift. Until then, we have FREE, online curriculum and educational materials under our “Resources" tab. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date on events for all ages, especially our new livestreams planned for the upcoming months.
We look forward to getting in the great outdoors again with you soon!
Our MISSION is to improve community equity by empowering our youth through access, opportunity, authentic relationships, and alternative outdoor education.
Our VISION is to provide meaningful experiences for our youth to learn new skills, build self-confidence, and be immersed in opportunities they may have never had access to before. Through our partners, sponsors, and supporters, we can build a community where our youth feel safe to discover the best version of themselves.

WILLAMETTE SAILING CLUB
We partner with outstanding local organizations to provide the best professional guidance and enriching experiences.
Our partners at Willamette Sailing Club organizes the Nautical Education portion of the summer program. Our participants learn sailing basics and how to be self-sufficient on the water in a dinghy and other small sailboats. While there is a focus on education and safety, there is no shortage of fun to be had with day trips around Ross Island, sailing into downtown Portland and anywhere else you can travel to by way of water and wind.
Thank you to our partner
Sail2Change is deeply appreciative of our sponsors and advocates in their commitment to enriching the lives of youth. Their contributions enhance the quality of our organization.
